Default Car is feeling sluggish.. but not against a SPEED 3

lately i have been driving around, and i just feel like i am driving my old six cylinder.. it takes me a lot of gas to get moving....

this is DEFINETLY general discussion =)....

i raced my friends mazdaspeed3 last night. he has just an intake. raced him from a dig as well as a roll. we both had a passenger and basically no gas lol.

we went from the dig and i had little spin both times. the first time i beat him by about 3 car lengths up through 3rd to about 90ish. than he said he bogged... so he wanted a rematch. but first, we settled the roll race. we got confused on who was honking. but we both seemed to go on the 3rd honk. i instantly put half a car on him and than stayed about 1 car to 1.5 cars ahead. he couldnt reel me in. i feel as though i was pulling slowly. we raced to about 110-115.. i was proud that i stayed ahead even though he is turbo'd

then we went back to the dig race. he spun this time but stayed half a car behind in 1st.. than i hit second and pulled another half car. than i hit third and pulled to about 1.5 2 cars. then we shut down

overall they were very close races... its hard to launch a FWD car against a car with RWD. very fun night on abandoned roads. probably going to go to the track soon..

Why? Because I'm selling the GT? Oh ye of little faith, what makes you think I won't come back with some other form of badassery this next spring? Who isn't to say I'll own a Windsor powered Mustang instead?

yeah.. i love your car.. all that work and now it doesnt even matter!!! stop spending several grand on your car every month and than maybe you can afford to simply put gas in it...

any other car besides this one is going to be gay.... =P

There's the problem you see. With this car, I know EXACTLY what it's capable of doing and looking like. That alone is too much temptation for me and since I just bought a 2nd salon, I'm kind of hard up for cash ya know.

change the fuel filter!!! made my car feel a lot more peppy. dont have to give it as much gas anymore to get it going and maintain speed. good mod for $13. lol

I know the feeling, Houston weather blows, feels like 125 out there. Car also feels like it's experiencing heat soak driving while the sun is up. So I try to avoid that if at all possible because it will drive me nuts
