Default how loud are lt headers inside the car??

Im thinking about buying LT headers and o/r h pipe and leaving on the stock mufflers. I know what o/r h sounds like with stock headers and mufflers. Will Lt's make it much louder?? If so, How much louder are they inside the car?? This isnt my dd, but we do drive it on long trips. I just got back from FL last week ,a 14 hr drive. I can imagine what it would be like if it were loud in the car on a long trip......Thanks.......

the headers don't make that big of a diff, it's the midpipe and catback (or mufflers) that make it louder.

Longtubes are alot louder then stock manifolds. It sometimes hurts my own ears why I drive past another car at WOT with the window down. Its not to bad in the car during normal driving tho.

During regular cruising below 2-2.5k rps, its actually quieter inside the car compared to the stock manifolds, regardless of the midpipe/catback/muffer setup. Start going WOT, and that's when it gets really loud.....when you actually want it to be.

I have Long Tubes on a 3" catted X-pipe and its not bad on the inside--outside though, I've been told it is pretty frickin loud lol. WOT, its loud inside sure, but I wouldn't really consider it unbearable.

I havent quite decided what mufflers I like the best, because I have only heard a few and they seemed too loud and raspy to me. I have flowmasters on my 98, but i dont like them so much. I want the lt's and h for the performance, but I dont want it to be so loud. besides my wife's v6 car, this 03 that Im getting lt's and h for, is the quietest car I own.. Thanks for the input guys................
