The king cobra i just installed sucks. The pedal is not smooth and feels like a ratchet wrench. Like the pressure plate fingers are not smooth. I resurfaced the flywheel and the I think it was a bad lathe job.

I want a lighter pedal than the KC. It was on for 2000 miles and i hate it.
It is a stock motor so i don't need anything more than stock.

There is Spec stage 1, Fidanza, Ram clutch, Centerforce. Any ideas on a great streetable clutch that is reliable?
What about the flywheel?

spec stage II or centerforce df and you'll be happy. Ram clutches have chatter!

i have never heard too many bad things about centerforce, but just get the $100 steeda quadrant/firewall adjuster and you'll have a much better clutch feel.

I have it. The pressure plate has to be defective or the flywheel was cut unevenly. As i push the clutch down to the floor it is not smooth. It pulses all the way to the floor. Hard to explain. It is not a nice mushy pedal it is like a ratchet. Any problems with the spec stage 1 clutch and spec steel flywheel.

i have a spec stage two its alright but i like the Centerforce alot better.
