To sell my stang? and get??
So this probably isnt the right place for this, but since what i have/ am looking at getting is a 4.6L i figured id post it here and if its wrong let it get moved lol.
Anyway im just wondering you your guys opinions are on selling my 2000 GT(auto, 47k)BBK CAI, UDP, Bullit rims, BFG tires, BBK 75mm Throttle body, etc.. lol
Now if i was to sell it i was thinking of picking up one of these:
-Possibly a 20-04 GT (just in a 5spd lol)
-2003 or 2004 Mach 1 (found one w/ 40k for under $12k All stock, 5spd)
-1999/2001 Cobra
-This is a LONG SHOT but 2003 Cobra (found one w/ 70k for $16,500 obo all stock!)
i was also looking at the GTO's and vettes but those might still be a bit out of reach lol. Was also looking the more import type (Cobalt SS, Srt-4) and the only other thing was a LS1. but being a mustang forum i wont get into that unless someone wants to lol. Just wanting your opinions i what the best route to go is!
thansk

The 04 GTO's aren't bad much nicer interior and faster, I'm not sure how much those could be had for maybe 12-14k?
I sold my GT and haven't really looked back. I think I would be dissapointed to sell my GT and get another mustang in the same gen. even if it's a cobra/mach.

yeh cobras are sick. i guess for the mileage that price isnt too bad!
and yeh i think ive seen a few GTO's for 12-14k. i dont think id be to dissappointed in getting another mustang of the same gen! im really looking at it for the weight/power ratio and what not. i like having the feeling i can run with anything i may encounter on the street or strip (other then a straight drag car lol)
Gto's are kind of heavy arent they? like up there around 3700lbs? and 99-04 stangs something like 3000-3300?
edit: if i do end up keeping my car, im thinking of a supercharger or something. kind of wish i would have gotten a manual, but at the time mommy didnt want me to have a 5spd lol

If you are going to go for a Mustang again, I would go for a 4v.
1. 03-04 Cobra
2. 03-04 Mach One
3. 99/01 Cobra
If you were to go for imports or the import type, IMO I would choose:
1. Mitsubishi Lancer EVO
2. Subaru WRX STI
3. Cobalt SS/TC
4. SRT-4
5. Subaru WRX

yeh i mean i like my car and all, only thing im not happy with is it being auto, i wish i would have gotten a manual sometimes, other times im glad i have a auto.
i was just looking at that cobra because theres soo much potential there with teh 4v's. and i was looking at mustangs/other american cars cuz i love the sound of the pure muscle!
not to get me wrong those evos are pretty damn quick too!

dont get a gto there heavy, expensive, and slow. the 03 cobra would be nice but insurance could be a problem. the corvette would be the best out of the choices and you can get the c5's for pretty good prices now. but i would just keep you car and make it better. i thought about doing the same thing but decided to build a badass 2v, cause everyone has a fast cobra or ls1. A really fast 2v is not as common
