just called summit about uca/lca price difference...

ive been wondering for a while why this kit is 100 bucks

http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

and this one is 200

http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

turns out their both the same danm thing! so why not buy the one for 100 bucks?

he also said their going to stop making the combo for 100 dollars so get them while you can....

SilvrStang 11-26-2008 03:51 PM

Theres the reason why their cheap......

sprayed99 11-26-2008 04:35 PM

they gonna stop making the 100 dollar combo but continue making the 200 dollar combo

but their both the same exact thing

Thats the first time I ever looked at those. I wouldn't put those things on my car if you paid me. The look very cheap and very weak.

look like gms ones. i blew the bushings out on my gms ones immediatly and was so unhappy with them i cut the bushings off the uppers and welded plates and heim joints on the end, then did the same to the lowers and made them into traction bars while i was at it.

I heard about the granatellis bending lol (no joke). Theres actually pics online. The summits are cheap for a reason ,I wouldnt run them on my car but for those who cant afford some good ones these will do the job. Summit sells good stuff.

Exactly! I have run the GMS control arms for two years with zero problems! I was a skeptic at first and even upgraded the bolts to grade 8 but have had no problems at all and that's at dropping the hammer at 6k
