I drove my buddys 04 cobra the other day and was not impressed at all. I really though it would pull hard and jerk my head back. It didn't at all. Its a fast car but just wasnt exciting to drive.

He saw a video of me NA racing a cobra and killing it. He just ordered a KB 2.8.

I don't think "waste" is a good word to put in the same sentence as cobra. I have always wanted a cobra and now I can afford one so I want to upgrade haha.

Waste is a good word since you can build a GT to out perform a cobra for alot less money.

not trying to butt heads but in my eyes building a GT is only worth it if you plan to keep it for a LONG time or you are doing well finacially.

Cobras will always have a MUCH better resale value than GTs

look at the price of any cobra to any GT the closest would be the 99/01 Cobras which with 40-50k miles are still going for 13(99s) to 17(01s) opposed to like 6(99s) and 9(2001) GTs

the sn-95 body style is a much bigger margine, so is the termi/ 03/04 GTs.

I mean if you're absolutely gonna go all out and Go through the roof 700whp+ i can see you doing a GT but otherwise i can see the logic behind building a cobra. At the end of the day you're still gonna be able to get more money out of it and you will have a better stock platform to build from.
