Default 2001 mustang bullitt intake fit??

so this guy is selling a 2001 musatng bullit intake for 200 bucks would it work for my car? and could i still use my plenum since theres is different?

yes it should work on your car and no you can't use the plenum as it uses a different style upper plenum to attach the throttle body. i would be worried about the price as most go for 5-700 bux i believe.

is the plenum in the same spot because i dont want to buy a new intake tube from the blower to the tb. and would that intake gain any hp or is it not worth it?

the tb is not in the same position. the position of the bullitt intake is much like the trickflow track heat if im not mistaken. so you would have to buy/modify the one that is currently on the car.

Plus you have to do a whole mess of other things to get everything else to work.. a bullitt swap is very expensive

The trickflow TB position is the same as a stock intake.

You will also need a longer throttle cable with the bullitt intake and egr.

should gain you a few ponies on a blower car as i believe they flow a good bit better in the upper rpms. the throttle body is close but i believe it uses a twin blade oval inlet setup.

+1 alot for under 5rwhp gain and 30lbs added to the front end.

so i could bolt on a Trickflow manifold and use my JLT intake that i already have??? i thought you had to use a specific intake.
