I have Magnapacks and I had a similar problem when I first installed them. My driver side tip's set screw vibrated completely off. I emailed Magnaflow and told them about the problem and they sent me two new set screws free of charge. I actually used superglue instead of loc-tite the second time around and I haven't had a problem with them since.

I give up on these pieces of ****. I've used every type of loctite in the book, gone through like 15 different set screws, and yet it still finds its way to pop out of place and vibrate. It's embarassing.

Looks like I'll be doing some thinking tonight. I'm pretty much set on some MRT 3.5" rolled tips because I'm just not sure I truly like the double wall of the SLP tips.

Now I just need to figure out what the difference is between the brushed finish and the chrome finish. I know what chrome looks like but I can't really tell what the brushed would look like in person.

Chrome - Brushed

I've actually convinced myself to keep the Packs. I just need to dump these tips that are made of horse ****.
