Strange popping noise from intake
I just recently trimmed the stock silencer to open it up a little. It is probably about an inch inside the fender. Every time i touch the gas i hear this little pop noise initially. It doesn't seem to be getting worse but it can't be good. I am going to get a new stock silencer and put it back on, but can it be cause by anything else. Just a k&n filter in there.

It isn't that loud, it's wierd. Right before you hear the intake suck or motor rev up you hear a little pop. Can it be plugs? I bought the car about 10,000 miles ago and don't know when they were changed.
