already im regretting and i just bought the damn things

but then again, i didnt ahve money for 2 new tires either. so i guess it worked out for the best

there isnt one mod on my car that i dont love though.. i wish i woulda kept my other wing from my other car and swapped it on since the cars were the same color.

other than that, i have suspension, have some power, im just doing style mods at the moment until i can save up and go big for a supercharger

I lol'd. sorry HP

the mods i'm doing is the route I'm taking. focus on the supporting mods first. IRS brace. Then the 14mm bolt and nuts. Next swap the IRS subframe bushings. Then the IRS Differential Bushings. Lastly the control arm bushings. Port the blower. Heat Exchanger it. Pulley it. KB boostapump it. Intake it. then tune it. 500+ rwhp here I come .

that's basically my plan. mods are in sig.

Pretty happy with all the mods so far. I'm either going to do a H/C/I or a cobra motor swap.

its not funny!! im pissed.. i was contemplating going to AM myself and asking to excahnge for 9's/.. but than i thought to my self "i dont have the money to buy 275/40's... so if i put the 255's on a 9" rim its going to look like poop" so i talked myself outta it..

If I could do it all over again do it a million different ways but the most obvious ones to me would be.

1) Buy a 03 Cobra
- Install Pulley
- Full exhaust
- Replace ALL bushings
- Install Coilovers & Caster Camber plates

2) Buy a WS6 Trans-AM
- Heads/Cams
- Full Exhaust
- Gears
- Replace ALL bushings
- Install Coilovers & Caster Camber plates
- Anything else needed to get it around corners

3) Subaru WRX STI
....
....
....
You get the Idea

This process can be repeated with a lot of cars. But trying to build a usable fast n/a GT is just a bank breaker.

the more and more i read it seems like i bought the wrong car lol. What are some positive things about this car. The way I have been looking at it tho is that i picked up my 04 gt for $8500 and the closest dohc i could find would either set me back to 2000 2001 with a lot more miles or another 5-6 grand for an 03-04 mach. That 5-6 grand can go a long way in go fast goodies if your handy with a wrench.

What do you wanna do with your car??? You gonna street/strip it or are you gonna street/open track it. Cus there are plenty of people that can lead you down the right path on this website for either way you wanna go. Either way, I would start with gears and a fully adjustable suspension.

I would've never bought a second car and saved my money. Going to school full time + working enough to pay payment and insurance = suck

But ls1's look like a doorstop. Even if they are faster and can be made faster with less money, I still wouldnt give up my stang anyday for one...even though it is only a 2v. Everyone sees 12 second N/A ls1 cars all the time. But not very many 12 sec N/A 2v's so thats what i like. Starting from behind and then passing them all.
