Hi all -

Was wondering if some of you veterans can help with a problem I am having. I stored my car in the garage last October and all was running fine. I tried starting up the car last week after 3 months in storage. The car started for about 5 minutes then died out. I tried starting up the car again with no success. The car cranks fine but just wont start. Normally I hear a "Bzzzzzz" from the fuel tank which I guess is the pump priming however I no longer here this. I checked the fuel pump fuse and it is good and my gas tank if full. I do have a few bolt on mods but nothing extreme. My 2001 was 30,000 miles and was wondering if the pump could have died so soon?

Is there a way of testing the pump to make sure its gone bad ?
Do I replace with a stock one or a higher flow one ?
Do I change the fuel pump only or the complete assembly ?
I assume the pump is in the tank and only way to replace is to remove the tank (is thi a big job)
