Default i was changing my spark plugs and look what i discovered...

I looked down one of my spark plug holes and noticed a chunk missing out of it..it didnt seem to effect the spark plug going in and out at all and i really dont see any way to fix it. what do you guys think about this.

Doesnt look like to big of a problem, the part where the spark plug seats looks to be intact (the shiny ring). Kinda interesting how that would happen though

Probably a mistake during milling/casting

I got a brand new Cobra motor from Ford for my car last year, got it all in and buttoned up, fired it up and it had an oil leak in the #2 spark plug bore. Had a pin-hole about 1/2 way down the bore that was just squirting oil out.

It looks like part of taper where it seats is missing it might not want to seal as well. What did the plug out of that hole look like? I'm it's probably fine.
