Anyone have: H&R Race springs?

Pictures, post em. And how is the ride with that aggressive of a spring rate? Is it manageable or brutal?

You'll find waaaaaay more info and pics on MOR and SVTP about H&Rs than you will here. Too many people here think springs are just for lowering and just buy what everyone else has.

I would have gone with them over the SS if they gave more of a drop. The odd thing about the Race springs is that the rear springs are actually softer than the SS....I imagine to reduce oversteer. The spring rate is only 50lbs more than the SS in front. The Super Race front rate is 1050lbs, 300lbs more!

yea, the only reason i want the race spring is because it doesnt give a big drop but has some good numbers.

I have the H&R Race springs! To be honest I went with these springs because they were not going to slam my car. I got about a 1" of a drop all the way around. Which is really good because I have long tubes. As for the ride quality, it really isn't that bad. I have noticed a HUGE difference in handling. They only thing I am worried about is the rear dropping lower than the front in the long run. I have seen this happen to the SS springs, so we'll see. Here is picture of my car. I installed them about 3-4 weeks ago.

+1

More of "this **** looks tight slammed" than "I increased my lateral grip by x amount"

Were c/c plates needed to get a good alignment?

I made an appointment next week to get the alignment, so I will have to get back to you. I did not put the c/c plates on, but I have them just in case the alignment is off. The guy doing my alignment said it wasnt nessecary, but if he cant get it aligned he will redo it for free when I put the plates in.
