Default how much does it cost to widen wheels?

A buddy of mine likes his wheels but would like to make the rears wider (only if its cheaper than buying wider rears obviously). He wants to go from 17x8 to 17x10. Any thoughts on how much this would cost? I think some people on here did it, but i wasn't sure. Thanks in advance.

cost me about 110/bucks a wheel, but it may be cheaper just to sell the wheels he has, and buy new ones.

Unless they don't make them in the size he wants, I don't see why he would need them widened.

For reference, I had my 10.5"ers widened to 13", but I don't see why he couldn't just buy the wider wheels at 10" wide

do they make the mach 1 wheels in 17x10? I looked around but only saw 17x9 in the replicas.

The new deep dish mach 1's might come in 10 or 10.5 but not sure.
