yesterday afternoon me and a buddie ripped ALL of my AC crap out, compressor/condencer/all the lines and tubes/mounting brackets, everything that was related to the AC. ill tell you thats a lot of weight when you add that stuff up. the engine compartment looks 100% better without all that extra crap criss-crossing everywhere, and the engine deff feels freed up and whines up a lot quicker for sure. the pulley bracket from ford fits right into the old compressor location like a glove. easy removal and easy instal, esp if you have a saws all layin around ha.

So you just cut out the lines? I just took my compressor off, and I'm trying to figure out how to properly disconnect the lines.

And did you have to take the bumper off to get the condensor out? I haven't really given it much of a look, just figured I'd ask.

as long as you bled the system you dont need to use the tool to disconect the lines, just cut them out close to the fire wall and seal the ends up. for the condencer, take out the cooling fan, unbolt the radiator and pull it back toward the engine as far as you can, pull back on the harness that sits on top unbolt the condencer and slide it out from the top

Go to autozone and buy a ford ac/fuel line disconnect tool. Don't get the x style get the multi colored ones.

I left the lines sticking out the firewall incase I ever wanted to put it back in.
