Default roll bar for a convert

my girlfriend has a 95 5.0 convert and i really want her to get a roll bar but she likes the 2 point style bars. everything i read sais that they are only for looks and will not help if the car ever flips over and i prey that it never does. is it true that a 2 point will not help? also if she bought a steeda 4 point how much of a hassle would it be for her daily driver? any pics on a 4 point would help out alot.

thanks guys.

Geesh... You guys are confusing a style bar and a roll cage/bar. Style bar is just for looks and doesn't touch the frame at all.

umm, you could tell her to not drive like a crazy person, and she won't flip the car.

or, you could get a 4 point. IDK why a 4pt would be any more of a hassle than a 2pt, I think a 2pt is just the main hoop and nothing else. At the very least get rear supports

I have lower door supports that you cant see in the pictures, but without them, yes, it's a 4pt. I'm finishing up the cage soon

a 2 point would fold back or forward when the car is rolled, at least get a 4 point

Maybe she won't flip the car, but other people could with their two ton+ vehicles...

Some people have said that the styling bar (not sure what brand) has held up in a rollover, but they have also said that other times, it did not. Basically, it's not something to rely on in case that ever does happen.

Did it make the car noticeably more rigid?

What she needs for saftey would be a maximum motorsports roll bar. What she wants is a styling bar(like i have)

I decided that in a roll over the windshield would proble cave in anyways, so im gonna snap my neck either way.. id rather it look badass when i die lol.
