everyone thinks they can get that sc cheap, and put it into our 2v's for cheap. In reality, you can get a used vortech for the same or cheaper. I'm sure some people will say, "the vortech is used", welp, the eaton is used too! Just cause u bought a new manifold doesn't mean the sc is new too. Plus I bet the eaton would only get the 2v to 360 hp at the motor (roughly) on a stock pulley, to where you would probably get around 430 or so on a vortech.

Anywho, whatever floats ur boat I guess.

anyone who is worth talking about knows that the heaton is crap and it's pointless to spend any time or money putting the thing on their engine. IDK where you get that it's a common occurance

I think he's sasying it's common for 2v'ers to ask about the eaton being installed on a 2v which is common for the question to be asked.... over and over... and over again. My only question is.... Will the eaton work on a 2v? hehehe, j/k ok, i'm tired, wife just had a baby, no sleep

yeah, for novices, that might be a common question.

But the answer to "why do we think it's so good?", well, if we are enough of a novice to not even know whether an M112 can fit on the 2v, then we are far too new to the field to know that the m112 is called "heaton" and is in-efficient.

hint: that's the reason people ask, if they don't ask, they will never learn. chances are, if someone doesn't know the m112 won't fit, they won't know that it's an inefficient blower either.

I know. I think they see a cheap supercharger for sale ($500 EBAY) and think they can get a really cheap supercharger... hell, if it was $500 total, I'D have one... at that price, who cares how effecient it is (obviously wouldn't want "turbonator" effecient). I'd take 65-85whp for $500.

Anywhoosen...
