Did the car get wet recently by rain or car wash? That is usually the culprit if your coolant is full

Un-plug the coolant level sensor on the tank. If the light goes out when the sensor is un plugged, then the sensor is bad.

It did have a car wash not long before it came on.

yep im familiar with that light...cracked my intake and the drive home that light kept coming on...had to stop and keep adding a bunch water then driving then stopping and adding water etc to gimp it home

Yup, that light is on in my car, when it first came on was only for a few but then it came back on and it stayed forever, it goes away sometimes but it always ends up coming back. How do you fix this? How do you clean the sensor? How do you unplug it? It bugs me to have it there.

ive had that light come on before when i was auto xing and it came on for a bit then turned off, any one know what that might mean? i have yet to see it come on again
