Which Rims? zomg
I'm ordering rims next week probably for my 2003 gt. I'm leaning towards black bullitts by a landslide but maybe chrome.
now the problem is whether to go with 18 or 17. . . . 17's are much cheaper and ride better, and 18's are slower and look much better. one thing thats annoying is that american muscle started carrying only deep dish 18's for the front in the bullitts, so they look like the back which is wierd
what do you guys say, stick with 17's yeah?

18" look SICKKK on new edges, if it were me, that is what i would do. As far as the style, thats completely up to the person whose car its going on. My own personal favorite for new edges are 03-04 cobras or saleens. Any of the bullits and ESP black/bright lip wheels are way overdone.

1. Are you Canadian?
2. It's really up to how much you'd like to spend. 18" look much better than 17" in my opinion, but that doesn't mean that 17" look bad either. Tires for 18" wheels are going to be much more expensive if you wish to go bigger.

Lol no im actually from New York. They are pretty popular rims, but that's for a reason i guess haha. as for mustangs, no one around here really has them.
i just looked and did a quick price up. i didnt realize that 18's would be 800 just for the rubber, when 17's would be 1050 total. i think i'll have to go with the 17's. this guy at school is actually selling chrome 17x9 cobras maybe i'll ask him about those

I can't even begin to post about wheels with Slicktastyk Matt's animated gif replaying. I swear I had to read his post 3 times before my attention span allowed me to focus on cars again.
Anyhow, I think 17's are the way to go. 18's would make the ride more uncomfortable and the tires are way more money!
I think it would look silly, my friend has 17x8 in front and 17x10.5 and he complains about the very slight difference in height. That's just my worthless opinion, anyone have pictures of such for review?
