auto shifting early, please help..
Hi folks, long time reader, first time writer here. My problem is this, I have a 2000 mustang gt automatic with 3.90 gears, some bolt ons and a predator tuner. Under wide open throttle, my car shifts way to early, at about 4900 rpm. From videos i have seen on youtube, i know automatic mustangs of my generation shift about 5600 to 5800 rpm, so i dont know what is wrong with my car. I have tried changing the shift points on the predator, but this doesnt change anything, which leads me to believe its not the computer but something mechanical causing the problems. Could my transmission be low on fluid or something? Any help would be appreciated.

its the tuner, i just installed my predator and i am having the opposite problems it is shifting way too late and is hitting the rev limiter at WOT. I adjusted the tire revs to the proper amount, took the shift firmness to stock and readjusted the shift RPMs to like 5600 and now it is fine, but that is on stock gear ratio. However I just got my 4.10 gears and am getting them installed next week, so i may be in the same boat. The guy at predator told me to update my predator to r07 since i am operating on r04, so we will see how that works (haven't go the cords yet). Hit up the diablosport forum they are pretty good with help. I have an '01 by the way and i am going to say 98% sure its the tuner not the transmission.
