Honestly, up close it looks just as good as farther away. I don't do cheap-out ricer mods on my car r just tack on as much as I can to try to make my mod list bigger. I'm all for the simple, clean look which I think this lip really helps with.
I don't have any pictures that you guys are looking for I guess. What exactly do you want when you say "close up" because I thought I posted one pretty close.

I remember I saw you put that strip on your car. I thought it wasnt going to work, but it turned out well.

I don't care that I got it from Home Depot. What matters is it works. It looks classy and honestly the worse reaction I ever get to it is if people think it's a Mach 1 lip. I think the smaller look is better. Personal preference I guess but it is not ghetto.
If people are interested I might make up a kit with them pre-cut to the right size and the right mounting material.
