alright first off i have a 2000 mustang gt with flows and lowering springs and i have removed the air silencer oh yeah and it's a manual and it has nine inch wide traction tires on the back and front, but it's stock besides those things. My buddy has a 1988 camaro that was originaly a six banger but he blew that motor and now he has a 1978 or 9 vette motor in it he "says" is pushing 500 but i seriously doubt it it may have 400 on a good day, BUT he has kept the original six banger suspension and 8 inch tires and rear end even, the way i know this is he did a "one wheeler squealer" in the parking lot last night and he told me about the suspension, he still probley has the stock auto. tranny too. any who he offered to race me for pinks or money do you guys think i would win?

The '78-79 Vette motor is a dog. A modern day hybrid taxicab would show him his a$$. Single tire fire solidifies the point. If you can drive at all take his money...

I would want to know more about his car, or atleast be able to take a look at it yourself. It's amazing what a bottle can do for even the slowest of cars. I say this because when my car was just like yours is now it got beat every week by a vette with that crappy motor because he had a 100 shot on it. Just some food for thought before you lose your car.

If i did a, "one wheeler squealer" i'd be ashamed to ask someone if they wanted to race. Especially if i were driving an 88 camaro. Your friend should be punched, first for making his car sound like the monster it's not, and then for driving an 88 camaro and asking someone to race for pinks or money. You can't give an 88 camaro away.......lol. He is bacically telling you that he doesn't want it because his wife,parents or whoever has told him that they are tired of the eyesore in front of their home. Don't waste your time!

my bad guys i just called called his and it's a 74 vette motor i could've swore he said 78 oh well. Oh yeah and i checked it out pretty good too he has a big *** sound system in the back as well, just some more info so let me hear some more opinons, and thanks guys for your help so far

As much as I love the show, you sir have watched too much Pinks. Who sandbags on the street for Christs sake?! It's hard enough to get a run, let alone sandbag one. JUST RUN THEM!!!!!
