Default Project IRS swap has began (update 03/20)

Finally after 2yrs I have started the IRS swap. I'm upgrading all Bushing while it is out, putting in 4.30's, upgrading the front suspension and brakes at the same time. Hopefully it is done in time for spring.
I have all my parts I Pulled off for sale if anyone is interested

Thanks! so far so good. I got all 13 OEM bushing out with no problem and that is what I was worried about. SO all down hill from there right

Nice, I almost wish I went with an IRS instead of working with a live axle.

You're gonna love the IRS, its a freaking night and day difference, the rear is soo much more settled after hittin the apex. Good luck, I'll be swapping the bushings out of mine sometime soon, but I've got a few other things I need to take care of before then. What diff are you going with?

Oh and what method did you use to get the oem bushings out, drill, torch, pulled em? This will be the first time I will be tackling a bushing job.

I bought my bushings from a guy on SVT performance. The kit he sells is Delrin and he rents tools for $70 deposit. You have to drill the subframe bushings but they all came out pretty easy with his tools. I'll post up the link later. Gotta head off to work

And to think I wrecked my car, by sliding the rear end out with IRS (covers my head in shame) Cold tires, but I can't blame it all on that. Hope it goes well for you dude
