Default Sniper tune installed/review

Got the Sniper SF for $33X in the mail yesterday. This is a really great tool to have, I highly recommend it. Instructions are very well written and creating a tune and loading it to your vehicle is very easy. For those of you worried about screwing something up because you know nothing about tuning, worry not. It walks you through a set of screens asking you various things about your car, most of which is left "stock". On mine, I entered that I had 3.73s, midpipe with no cats, rear O2s present, catback, tire height, I added 100rpm to my idle. From that you click Finish the tune is created. Load it on the interface, take the interface to your car, hook up to the OBD and load it...voila, there you have it. Speedo is corrected, CEL is off. Now I've only driven it 2 miles since I loaded the tune and I never got on it since the engine was cold, but the engine def. sounds different and I can notice some more power even in normal driving. I'll test the waters more later. A part of the software I haven't even gone to yet is where you can modify the sniper created tune and add more timing and such. While I'm not going to mess with the A/F, I am going to bump the timing a degree or so and see what that does.

that really is a relief. how difficult do you think it would be to make a blower base tune?

really?dam i need to buy one because either way if i were to take it to get tuned they would still make me a buy a xcal or some other tuner. might as well buy the sniper and make my own dam tune and check it with a wideband once i buy it.Jvog if i remember correctly you already installed your blower and used sniper to make your base tune. How did that turn out?
