Default Long Tube Headers Worth It?

Hey I talked to a guy at a Mustang shop and he said for the price of headers and what you really get out of them its not worth it. I dont plan on moding the car that much...I'm trying to figure out if its worth it.

It may not be worth it if you are not planning on doing that much. What exactly are your plans for the car?

I've done a lot of reserch in this area, and i'm doing them in the next few days. Is it worth it? It's a matter of opinion, because of the cost/benefit ratio. Not only do you get some hp, but you get a better sound as well. Then again i'm fairly modded. If it won't kill you financially, i would do it.

My basic plans are...

I have a catback already

I want o/r midpipe
4.10s
TB/plenum
That's really about it...

Then stuff like springs and wheels and stuff

If you do what's on your list first, then IMO it's worth it. Do the o/r pipe and headers together to save time and money

They dont add much power but they do make the car sound nice. In the other hand, they are a pain in the *** to install or uninstall, think that if your clutch wears out or ur tranny goes bad you are going to have to deal with them.

I didnt like it.
