I actually disagree. I think have the cowl flat black, and then the outer part of the hood gloss black. IT would look sick FTW. Either that Or I'm too drunk to think straight

Post up some more pics and have someone photoshop them. I just can't see how a painted cowl hood could look "funny".

I think it would look good if you did the cowl flat and left the other part gloss. I've seen a few people do it on other color cars and it looked good. I've never seen it done on a black one but I still think it will look good, and give you that look you want without making the hood look unpainted.
