Really everyone is right you have to go s/c but even still going over 8 psi is risky your lower end. And even pushing the max psi for your blocks internals won't get you in the elevens, 12s yes but to get near 12 flat you will need an awesome tune and full exhaust, tires and suspension.

Staying n/a and being in the mid to low twelves is very respectable but very expensive

I respectfully disagree. There are people running 370-390hp with a fairly safe tune on vortechs. If you have the suspension and tire to hold the power, low 12s and high 11s should be attainable, the power is there.

I guess you missed my post, eh? You obviously don't see that HE is a very big factor in what makes that car fast. I highly doubt that you can drive like that.

Do you think that if you slap on some bolt on's, a full exhaust, cams, suspension, and some stickys that your car is instantly a low 12 second car?

Good driving and the fact the car weighs 3100# with driver is a big factor as well. 3100# is very light for a New Edge.

Wow, I didn't know that he has a race weight of 3100#, is the car pretty much fully gutted? It must be because I can't really see losing that much weight with only slicks and skinny's and a rear seat delete.

Yep , no passenger or rear seat, tubular stuff etc. Very few people will go to that extreme.
