Default Mustang vs infinity g35?

Just wanted opinions on differences such as horsepower and driveability. Have any of you raced or owned a g35 and what were your results.

My bro owns a G35 so we do this often lol. He got his after I had my 4.10s put in so I don't know how it would have gone but I bet it would have been really close. With the 4.10s I walked him pretty badly. He has since gotten a larger plenum which is a pretty good mod on their motors and it's a closer but I still beat him by a couple car lengths.

As far as driveability goes, they are really nice cars and handle very well compared to our cars (stock vs. stock). I've put some suspension mods in my car that make them comparable but without them, the G35 is much more fun to take corners in because you can take them much faster. IMO, the G35 is in a class of sports cars above ours as they come from the factory.

I used to own a G35 coupe. I installed an APS turbo system on it, and turbo cams, and tein coilover suspension. Stock vs Stock the Mustang would barely win, however the G35 modded would beat a mustang with the same mods N/A. Forced vs Forced IdK. But internet racing is pretty lame. just be sure to compare apples to apples and not apples to oranges

It all boils down to who has sunk more $$$$ into their car as to who will when. I am sure If both cars were running same psi etc I am sure the mustang would win, however, the G35 hooks better than most rear wheel drive cars on the market.

Since it hasn't been pointed out, there are SEVERAL versions of the g35 including some with awd and 6 speed manual trannies. Talking about racing ag35 without more details is like saying you have a mustang and not giving details. i agree though go race him/her and stop talking about it.

Stock vs stock it should be a drivers race. ive raced an auto with my 5spd from a stop and i beat him off the line but they have a good top end. Race him from a dig your tq should give you the edge.

Unless the G35 has AWD in which case he will whip by you as you spin your wheels or feather the clutch to get traction. . .
