the miles are a bit high for what he is asking. ask him if he is really willing to break the deal over 1k or less. if he says yes, walk away and keep looking. itll be his loss....

I'm too lazy to KBB it, but if 7800 is the medium price for a private party, I would go with $7500 CASH.

money talks he most likely won't say no, but if he does then say 7800 thats it. if he takes it, good, if not, oh well there are better deals.

you can do better, if you don't know the difference in a "regular" mustang and the GT trim you should definitely figure that out... the economy sucks so you should be able to get a good deal on a sports car

I just found out that this is a 2001, and not a 2002. The KBB value says 6.8K! WHats the max I should offer him then?

Are you sure you want a auto over a stick? I would save a little more money and go with a 4v.

I got my 1998 GT with 46k on it for 7.5k and it has all of the options except for the 17in wheels (witch Im about to buy). I think that I got a really good deal on it but what ever.

Just remember that a car with 200k miles that been taken care of really well is still better than one with 30k thats never had the oil changed and been beat the sh*t out of.
