aem wideband

gettin a wideband for my car issue is i have an o/r x pipe not sure where to mount the o2 sensor any of you guys have a clue where to put it:confused:

Since you have an O/R midpipe you can remove one of your rear o2 sensors and put the wideband sensor in the existing fitting. Or you can weld the fitting that comes with the AEM wideband onto your midpipe.

isn't closer the better in this case? but if you had it close it would only be on one side of the bank, isn't that an issue?

Put it on the driver side downpipe as close to the exhaust manifold as possible. You will have to drop the pipe and drill a hole and weld in a new bung. The farther you get away from the exhaust manifold the less accurate the AFR reading will be.

I put the bung for the Innovate LC-1 in the passengers side pipe (UPR catted X-pipe), about 6" aft of the front sensor at about 1:00. There was plenty of room to get a cheap Harbour Freight right angle drill and a step bit in there.
