alright my 4 month long project (my car) is finally moving on after some money issues have been resolved and i was thinking about having my stock heads ported by lakefox i think it's called. anyways what kind of valves and springs will i need. its the stg 1 porting and i have read that the modmax valve and spring combo is goob but i cant find no specs on this product. im going with the Comp Cams XE270 (0.550 I/E 234/238 @ 0.050 113) which i think will work good im also adding venom High Performance 24lb Injectors from american muscle. and then finally maybe just maybe hit that wonderful 300rwhp mark

I'll try to help or at least throw you a curve or two. The company is Fox Lake and they do a great job with the heads. I would let them suggest any valve/spring combo needed. But let me say this, with stock bottom end and rpm capability (just say 6500 or less) I don't think ported heads are a good horsepower per $ mod. The Comp 270 is a good all around cam if you ever decide to use FI or nitrous. You will lose some low/mid range power with the 270's that you wouldn't with others. Not the best pick if staying N/A IMO. One last thing...I don't see injectors needed at that power level but if they are maxxed out I would use nothing but Ford (FRPP) injectors. I hope I've helped or at least got you to think a little. lol

P.S. don't get hung up on the 300 rwhp thing...it means nothing really.

its a budget build (Damn Recession) so i might just go with the porting and valve job on the stock heads, instead of buying Aftermarket head Which are PI heads with P&P jobs. as for cam yeah i plan on it being an N/A car with some weekend action. so basically a daily driver. i would like to go nitrous later down the road. as for the injectors i dont think they are maxed out but close to it im sure. the 300 rwhp thing is rly not important to me, i would just like to in the 12's constantly
