yup, i had planned on selling it anyway to go to the 2.6l. I can get to 500 or so rwhp/tq but at around 540-560 it is about maxed out. I was going to sell it and get the 2.6l and up the boost to get to 600+, but like i said earlier, if i can do this whipple swap i prob will. Just dont know when this all will take place. The only thing i am lacking for the new engine is a set of heads and cams. I have the money and everything, just dont know what to go with. I had planned to hold off for the trick flow's, but i dont think i am going to pay $2,200 or so for a set of heads when i could do stage 2 heads and cams for like $1,800. once i get the heads and cams on the motor, then i will be looking to sell the blower for somthing bigger. like a giant 3.4l LOL!

Well they announced that the Trickflow heads are going to be $2000 assembled and then CMS blower cams are $569, so youre not gonna be spending a whole lot more than the equivelentl heads for a lot more potential. And the R heads are gonna be freakin amazing so i would buy those because your gonna be flowing more than some, if not most, 4v heads so i would find it to be a positive thing. 4v flow numbers at a little more than normal 2v prices. But i had pondered this idea a while ago but never did research on it. but i like the effort you put forth to do this swap. I would definitly go for the 3.4L Whipple!!!

LOL! Well i just sent lethalperformance a pm cuz i read a thread about the 3.4 and supposedly you have to spin the damn thing to 20psi for it to start making good power. Waiting on a response as to what he thinks about it. IDM the 20 psi ,but are the cobra guys running race gas at that boost level? I cant see them getting up there much more without it. but then again, the most i have run is 10psi so what do i know? LOL!!

when he messages me back and says that it would be worth the swap, great upgrade, ect.. then we are in business!

whipple does make a blower bigger than 3.4, they make a 4.5...

That thing is a freakin monster!

Also the cobra guys have a forged setup, as long as they pull enough timing they can run as mush boost as they want on pump i'd imagine.

anyone who runs this blowewr will have to have forged internals. i believe its range is from 12-30 psi. 12 psi alone will be pushing the 500 marker.

but how much timing are they pulling?
