Motor Mounts
#3
Well, i have never done this, but i would assume that you would have to disconnect engine, diconnect old mounts, raise engine alittle, replace new mounts, and set engine down and hook it up. as far as do's and donts: again i have never done this but i would assume you would want to drain oil before hand and maybe drop tranny down? Give it time, some one else will chime in who has done this and give you advice.

It's a fairly straight foreward procedure.
Loosen all the bolts in the motor mounts, both sides. Also, loosen the transmission mounting pad bolts. No need to remove them, just loosen them so you can move the drive line around without binding.
Lift the engine up enough to get the motor mount off. A hoist is probably the easiest. But you can use a jack and jack stands under the oil pan. Be sure and put a big hunk of wood between the pan and the jack. Use a piece of 4x4 long enough to put a jack stand on each end.
R&R the motor mounts. With the new mounts in hand, it will be pretty obvious how to do this.
Set the engine back down. Now use an angle finder or level to make sure the engine is straight in the chassis, and not tilted to one side.
Once it's level, tighten the motor mount bolts first, then the trans mounts.
All in all, this job shouldn't take more than an hour or so with hand tools.
