New steering wheel!! Pics inside!
So this weekend i took on the task of getting rid of my old piece of **** steering wheel and installing my new FR500 steering wheel.
This steering wheel feels soooo much better than the stock skinny POS.
I recommend this wheel to all for a super comfortable upgrade!
Also, install was a breeze! We did mine first which did give us(me and ryan AKA Ryansquik6) some trouble as the hole we used for the puller stripped out. But we found a clamp type puller that performed flawlessly. mine took about 1hr due to difficulties. Ryan's took approx. 30 mins to take off old one and install the new one. def something a average joe could do.
anyway, took some pics along the way for yall.
As you can see, the top of the wheel has had it.
Just took the air bag off.
Removed the horn switches.
This is the puller we tried to use first. The 2 holes that the bolts attached to are the ones that stripped. We then used a clamp style that grips the top of the metal section and the bottom of the metal section and uses a bolt in the center to pull the wheel off like the first puller.(it was dark and did not get any pics) After wheel is off, replace with new wheel and do all steps backwards to re install.
New wheel installed!!
