oil change tomrrow!

Default oil change tomrrow!
my saleen is a 2000 i know ford changed the oil pan and the 02 i think and up took more than 5 quarts of oil. i just want to make sure that ford says 5 quarts is what 2000 mustang gt takes

i always use lucas oil stablizer so i will add 4 quarts of oil and the bottle of stablzier.

Sounds about right, I put 5 in the last time I changed oil. If all else fails there is always the dipstick to check!

The manual on my 00 GT states that capacity is 5 quarts, although I've heard of many people who will still put 6 in their 00s.

start with 5 and take a look at the dip stick....

5 quarts even with the lucas oil stablizer, it says i should take one quart of oil off for the stablizer, so 4 quarts of oil and one bottle of stablizer?
