Default Getting my first mustang, please read

I am looking at getting my first mustang gt and this is the one I am thinking of getting . what do you guys think about it? I have about $8,000 to spend and everything around that price range has 80,000 plus miles on it. does this seem like a good one to you guys? what should I be looking for when I look at the car

the price doesnt seem real bad for that mileage, but the condition doesnt look that good and that is definitely a "midnight auto" dealer... look for a private seller, thats my advice

the car is nice the milage is good but its very ugly its green and it has cloth seat and it auto trans
when looking for a stang try to stay away from ones that have any mods at all
Listen for engine ticks
check all the body gaps
take it to a good mechanic and get i checked out
check wheel up in the wells for rubber chunks
(from doing burnouts ect.) THIS IS A BIG ONE!!
theres probably alot more i just cant think of them all lol

^ +1 private seller ftw, you can get it for less, just make sure it was someone who cared about their car... check the site there are quite a few people who sell their stangs on here. there is a for sale section.

you don't need an auto, go get you ***** from your moms purse, man up, and get a manual lol. When I got mine, that was the requirement of the next car that it be manual. You will be overall more happy, and the manuals are better trannys.

Get a manual Mustang. I have an auto and it makes the car boring to drive. The Ford auto's are dumb and give you slow granny shifts(without a tuner). BTW, I learned to drive a manual in 30 minutes and perfected it within a month. As for the color, pick the one you want and don't let us tell you otherwise. Good luck with the stang search.
