Question Drifting with a 2003 Cobra?

I have 315s on the rear, has anyone drifted with that wide of tire? Was going to order from American Muscle, has anyone had trouble with them, are they ok! Thanks Putz

Good for you for thinking outside the box. 315's will be fine but i hope you have everything else first. You still need a fully built rear end, suspension and chassis mods to do it safely.

If you're just starting out get the cheap Sumitumos Since they are only about 85$ each.

Yes, you can drift an 03 cobra with 315's...

Have you ever "drifted" before, or are you talking about doing a burnout around a corner and having the rear step out a little bit. Because if that's what your planning just give me the keys before the poor thing ends up in a guard rail.

The tire size is not the first thing that comes to my mind when I think of drifting an 03 Cobra. The suspension needs a little work to keep everything totally under control.

Also. American Muscle is a reputable site, pretty much everyone on here has bought. I don't think I've heard any real complaints about them.

lol. go for it.

i call the motor and seats.

I've "drifted" in my car one time when it was raining and really dont wanna do it again. I'll stick to just getting her a tad sideways leaving an intersection

I just went to my first drift event and thought it was like bad *** autocrossing which i've done and become bored with. for sure I will go with the cheap tires but I have the Bullit rims 10.5 and don't want to f/u the IRS or break the rim. I think a little DETROIT sound would blow the Honda's mind..
