Default Installed clutch quadrant/adjuster -- feel no difference

So today i decided to tackle the clutch quadrant/firewall adjuster install, and I feel no difference in the clutch at all other than that i can adjust where the clutch grabs... Is that all this did for me? I thought the quadrant was going to make it so that my clutch grabs in the same exact spot everytime??

If anything, my set-up now, feels worse than it did before.. It feels more clanky and sh*t... wtf

comments or concerns please post

hahaha all your threads are b*tching. i felt no difference i thought the point was that over time the plastic oem quadrant bends and the adjuster lets you adjust it without getting under the car. I didnt think it would make anything perform better.

^+1, there will be no immediate difference other than a subtle, but noticeable, more decisive and less mushy engagement (this may be your "clanky" feeling)--it's a long term issue, and because the monkey-motion plastic semi-auto adjuster has been eliminated the engagement position will remain constant.

You will make to make occasional adjustments as the friction disc wears, that's what the adjuster is for...

If you liked the OEM monkey-motion/mushiness then put the stock crap back in and sell the good stuff, there will be a bunch of people interested in buying it...

Alrighty... Than it was a successful install/purchase..

I was expecting a totally different "feel" and i didnt really get that.. But now that i know what should have been expected, i guess it works great !!

Mine are off a little also. I just assume it's because of the smoked headlights.

The color temperature quoted by most aftermarket lighting vendors is a load of crap--most of them don't even know what color temperture is, BTW, a true 8k°K would really suck in fog--it's way too blue...

It could be because of that.. My fogs are perfect on start up, but once they warm up, they turn white.. my headlights are way more blue-ish

CliffyK, you are 100% right about the color temp that the vendors quote being complete garbage..
