Default Wet Sanding The Dot Matrix

Has anyone ever tried to wet sand the dot matrix off the rear window before they got there windows tinted. I was just doing some brainstorming of ideas on how to remove/rough them up a bit so the window tint would adhere to it better. Wet sanding came up, scotch pad, I just don't know..... Any thoughts?

Yea, I remember a guy saying that he used to tint windows for a living and he would always wet sand the matrix. I've never done it, but I could imagine that it would work.

Good, thats all I needed to here. I think I'll give it a try. I need tint bad, I'm tired of being blinded at night by headlights. Plus it looks cool.

the tint shop I went to just put solid black vinyl over the dots. I think the black vinyl is the best route.

its not noticeable at all with darker tint, but im sure if you went with 35% you could tell. I have 5% on the back and you can barely tell even inside the car.
