Yeah its definetly not a 5.4L unfortunatley...He was unsure of the year but knew it was a 4.6L so i am assuming its an '01....He says that he has the wiring harness for it, but how will my stock gt computer handle the cobra motor because they rev alot higher and my car is an automatic. So do i even need a cobra ecu or not??

Now I do but I'm referring to the H pipe I had (still have in the garage) when I had stock manifolds.

Well you will have to adjust your tune... it looks like you're using sniper software you should be able to adjust your fuel tables and rev limiter for the 4v.

Don't try and use a different ECU the PATS system wont allow it. Just use all your factory wiring and delete the IMRC's.

Its all pug and play, you'll see once you start. Hopefully the engine comes with the flywheel.

No no the 99-01 didn't have IMRC.... and the engine will come with a flywheel but that won't help him. You will need to make sure you have an 8 bolt flex plate... or if not I might still have one laying around from my 5.4 that I'd be willing to let go of.

Ok what is an 8 bolt flex plate and what does it do lol? But if i do end up doing the swap how much would you want for your flex plate??

your torque converter bolts to the flexplate. you will need to reverse the polarity to the ignition coils if you are gonna use your stock ecu/harness from what i have seen, your midpipe will work fine, my buddy took his slp off his 99gt he totaled and it bolted rite up to his 03 mach. you will also have to change your tune to get the full potential of the cobra motor.also need a new air intake as you will be going from a round tb to and oval one.
