So my GT needs a new engine. Im thinnkin about buying a 5.0 HO out of a 1990 GT. Now ill be tearing the 302 apart and rebuilding it before i put it in my 96. Im thinkin forged internals, Cam, Heads, Etc....

Now when i do eventually put it in ill just have to get it tuned right? Like buy a tuner or get a tune chip from SCT.

i think you will need an ecu and wire harness from a 90ish gt ..... plus a new k member ,transmission,ect. .... why wouldnt you just put a 4.6 back in it ?
