I got a diablo tuner for free from guy at work last year around november. It was still married to a car with no chance of getn it unlocked. I looked around some forums and finally found out that Diablo would unlock it. I called and for $125 they did. The only thing I have done to my car so far is a K&N filter but hoping more mods soon. I put the factory preditor tune on my car but want to know what else I can do without a dyno. Thanx for any info.

Are you talking about what other mods you can do without needing a dyno tune? Is so you can do: Longtubes, Mid-pipe, Catback, Throttle body, plenum, Gears & a small Nitrous shot. Dont forget about your suspension: Spings, CC plates, Full length subframes, shocks/struts. Also don't forget about some DR's.

Thanx but I ment what else can I do with the programer itself. I have never used one befor so I am not sure what all i can do and not hurt my car.

Get some 93 octane gas in your tank(a full tank of 93) and put the 93 octane tune on it. Diablo gives some pretty lame stock tunes, so you can advance the timing almost if not all the way. I think Diablos give you a 10% advance/retard. Do NOT touch the fuel settings.

Thank you Hoss what about the shiftin points. I will not lie i dont to hurt my car and I am a lil scared to do much with the tuner. I am soon goin to get an o/r h pipe and hopfully 4.10s butdont have many ideas after that as for performance. I have many apperance mods to do but everybody knows that money is tight so just one thing at a time.

I would put the shift points at 5600-5700 and bump the shiftfirmess up as much as you are comfortable with.
