Default what would it take to beat a c6 zo6?

with 400 rwhp and a 3000 lbs or so car i should be able to take a stock c6 z06 right?

my car will have 4.10s and suspension also

the corvette's are 3200 lbs with 505 bhp and 470 lb-ft. i don't know what that translates to in rwhp

On a side note what would it take to beat a Nissan GT-R.

as for the Zo6 you would need some forged internals and a supercharger + some... that corvette isnt 70 grand for nothin

Ive seen completely stock C6 vettes at the track with the temp tags on them running high 12s and low 13s

Gimme some money and you can borrow my car for a day, and that Z06 owner won't know what happened (I'll even let you run it on Hoosiers on all four corners)

In all seriousness, if you can get your car to a 3200lb race weight, (if you are 200lbs, that translates to a wet weight of 2900lbs for the car), and have a true 400rwhp you will run WITH a Z06

It would take another 75-100rwhp to sucessfully beat one, and that's at the same race weight.

C6 Z06's are nothing to shake a stick at. A crappy driver can pilot one to a 11.8, so just imagine what someone who knows how to drive can run.

Search for a thread I started in S/S. I've embarrassed at least one GTR owner

With a bad driver its not hard to embarrass one.... or embarrass himself saw one at the track tonight ran a 14.6 a 13.2 and a 14.7 and yes it was a true gt500 saw the engine and all.

although the other white GT500 was running 12s on some stickier tires

there is a video on youtube of 2 cobras picking on one GTR on the highway. Both cobra pulled on it, one but football fields on it, the other put cars on it. it only took a bolt on cobra to walk it...

anybody can embarass themselves on a track. The day I was there, my buddy in a ~550rwhp 2003 Cobra ran a best of 13.3

But I thought you were talking about the Nissan, not the GT500

But the Ops question is what does it take for a 2v, not a supercharged 4v with bolt ons
