Default Anyone Know? Exhaust question

Okay, so I know I'm the last person you'd expect an exhaust thread from, but o well.

I have a question. Does anyone know if the JBA shorty headers require a specific midpipe?

I want to go from a Catted H-pipe to a Catless O/R H pipe from Summit.

But, I want to make sure that it will fit the headers.

So far, I've found that the headers I have are part number JBA-1659xxx

but the JBA midpipes say they are made for JBA-6255xx headers, and can't seem to find anything that SAYS I have to run a JBA midpipe

Anyone know if they are exclusive?

If I can run the Summit O/R H pipe, I'll buy it right now

one would assume you could run any full length mid pipe... why would their shorties be any different?

edit: and your not the last person i'd expect that from......

Well, don't SLP headers exclusively require an SLP midpipe?

don't ALL SLP headers require an SLP midpipe?

I really just don't want to get these pipes in to have them not fit.

idk what would make them different, but I also have never really researched exhaust

If it doesnt work then you can have the excuse to drive around with open headers to the muffler shop and have them make it work.

they won't make it work

We have emissions here, so if they get caught they're threatened with $2500 fine per cat removed. So that would be 6 since thats what mustangs came with from the factory.

not to mention, I need at least the front oxygen sensors hooked up

And to think I used to look up to you for being one of the most cerebral members on board. I can't believe you would even think of asking such a question. I just don't know what makes sense anymore...(J/K, I hope you get your answer but it surely won't be from me, I have no clue) I also can't believe New Edges came bottled up with 6 cats! Mine had 4 and I thought that was choking enough...
