ijust had mine rebuilt, but i forget howmuch... i had terrible problems with my rearend, including a bent up diff. cover that i have ordered and is one the way
The trak lok is Ford's limited slip differential. It uses a clutch system to get both wheels to turn. But like most anything using clutches, they wear out. once they do, you are stuck with an open diff. so you're going to have to rebuild the T-lok, or replace it with a locker type differential that doesnt have clutches(Detroit locker).
i have no experience with them, but ive heard that they arent as street friendly because they are noisy. someone can feel free to correct me if im wrong.
