yea but if the frpp breaks after 6 months, and then i have to buy the eaton anyways, it becomes a $300 difference...

see what im sayin? ide rather do it right the first time... $150 isnt really that much, so i wanna go with whichever one is better

I don't think he's running an Eaton... I don't think Eaton make a 33 spline set up so he went with something else. Maybe strange engineering or moser one.

Yeah... 33spline on an 8.8 but I'm not sure which LSD he ended up going with.

I guess if the power is going to be there and you're just looking to launch the hell out of the car.... the Ford 9" is a proven platform... I'm just not sure what kind of cost we're talking here to swap it into this application.

i can get a cheapy setup going for $1200... about $1800 if i wanna do it the right way

if im going to be needing a 9" i may put that 1000 bucks i got into the bank until i can come with another grand to do it....i wont have an option once the motor is in though, i dont see my 28 spline axles lasting too long

Well just don't get to crazy with it until you have the cash ready... I'm sure you can get an 8.8 to hold the power... but like I said, the 9" has been proven through and through.
