Default Looking for new exhaust for 2002 GT

I just bought a '02 GT in the winter and am looking to buy a new exhaust. So far i only have a K&N intake, but i want an exhaust thats not too loud or raspy. I was looking into Magnaflow catback and x-pipe exhausts. What do ya'll think? Any suggestions?
Thanks

magnaflow sounds good, or you could try MAC, its not too loud or raspy.

Alright, so i looked at those suggestions. To be honest i'm kinda new to car tech's and stuff.. Would having the same brand catback and mid-pipe be better than going between two different brands? And what would be a "chambered" muffler as opposed to a "straight-through" sound?

if you dont want it loud or raspy stay away from "straight through" style resonators/mufflers

If you don't want raspy then don't go with an x pipe (sound more like a race car) I recommend an H pipe for old school muscular sound. It does not matter to mix and match brands.

Magnaflox was my second choice to STEEDA.

the regular magnaflow would be pretty quiet compared to other catbacks out there. I would recommend MAC.

I can tell you from personal experience don't do a o/r h with a straight through muffler... Very raspy and poppy!

A catted h or x will be good with the straight throughs.

Have you checked out the SSS Catback? It's quality and sound is similar to Borla Stingers, but half the price.

Honestly, if you don't want something loud just get mufflers. When I put my Bassani cat-back and X-Pipe on its probably like 100 time louder then stock.
