Default any way to save your axels?

just curious if rather than spending like 500 bucks on 31 spline axels and a new differential if there is any other way to save your rear... i was considering doing just the moser 28 spline axels to help reinforce a little bit, but was curious if there was any other way...like do control arms help protect your axels? the car will either have 4.10 or 3.73 gears, low rpm launches on DR's, and is staying NA so will never need to support massive horsepower.

if your willing to buy aftermarket 28 spline, you might as well find a used cobra 31 spline dif and put that in.

i was curious more to see if like instead of changing the axels at all if like control arms or something could save the stock axels...cuz the moser 28 spline axels are already over 200 bucks, i know if you wanna play you have to pay but with amount of times ill be playing its not worth me paying too much, lol..im looking for a cheap way out of the rear if possible pretty much...i know i wont go to the track too much but if i do go id like a little extra protection

If anything control arms are gonna make it more likely to snap an axel. Control arms will increase friction, thus making the forces on the axels increase.

Holy crap this is bugging the **** outta me. AXLE. It's AXLE not AXEL, this isn't Gun's and Roses here.

Sorry I had too. OP, if you don't regularly go to the track and you're not planning on high-RPM launches on slicks, then you should be fine with the stock diff. and Moser 28 spline AXLES.

You could have axle braces welded in.
