Default 2004 Mustang GT??

I am thinking of making an offer on this mustang. They want $16,988 for it but I think the price is a little high for a car with 51000 miles on it. What would be a good starting point? KBB retail value on the car is $13,990. I would really appreciate any help.

That's just way too much. I'd rather have this http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/cto/1145794337.html You could pick that up for $15K Canadian and if you didn't notice has 4,300kms on it, not even broken in...I'd keep looking.

about $6,000 too high man. i can't believe you're even thinking about making that deal...

i bought my '02 in jan. of last year with 45,000 miles for 11k. with the way prices have fallen lately u should easily be able to get a gt with less than 50,000 miles for under $10,000.

That is real clean. But The price is much for the car. I have seen cobra's for a little bit more then that. But If they need to sell the car it wont hurt to try. I have heard to offer 500$ more then kbb trade in value of the car?

Did any of you SEE the car I linked to in post # 2??? That car could be had for 12.7US and is far and away a better car than the one the OP is enquiring about...
