Agreed. I really can't see how a stock LS1 wouldn't go by him like he was waitin' for a bus but I suppose the video will tell all. If the 13.39 is true, that is damn near the best time I have ever heard of from a car with his mods. That experienced guy on here (dimebag???) ran a 13.72 in a stock New Edge and that was incredible as far as I'm concerned. And yes, "beat up on" is a relative term...;-)

keep in mind he purchased the car used, so he probably isn't 100% sure of his mods. While he may or may not have ran those times, I think he's leaning waaaayyyyy to hard on "how close to stock" his car is, when he really doesn't know, IMO. To me the video will ONLY show is ability as a driver and nothing about the mods on the car itself!

i just think you want to have times that people doubt... its a good time yes, all that means is you can drive (i hope/think). I dont know what more your looking for, if its a cookie that you want i might be able to help out . a lot of people run their cars at shi**y tracks or cant drive and come back with bad times and its just a lot more people that have an experience like that. these seem like avg times for someone who can drive, so your in the minority. Just sucks the avg track times for a 2v is like 14sec (was about to actually do the math, but its a sat.)

well let me point out a few things, first the 2 times he caught on tape were no that great of times a 13.7 somthing i think and a 13.6 somthing, and i dont beleive i was against my buddy for either of them...i dont know why he did it that way, my first race of the night was against him i ran a 13.55 to his 13.49 he red lighted lol, i wanted that race on tape but i guess he was slacking...but i can complain because any video is better than no video, i wish i had my 13.42 on video because thats close to what i ran the other week, but sadly his battery died. ill let everyone know as soon as i get the videos sent to me. And one last thing, i could really care less whether people believe me, because i have the slips to prove it and i was in the car.....as far as wanting a cookie, i like chocolate chip! but i dont need anyone to suck my...to make me feel better. And the only mod i dont know is if the clutch is factory or not, i may have bought it used, but ive been inside the motor to fix a bad bearing ive had it dynoed, there is nothing special done to the motor, bolt ons, thats it. Tranny is stock, rear is stock all suspension is stamped steel, if that aint stock, then please fill me in, and i know the rear is stock because my tuner has stock rotation value for tires and rear end gears in it, and my speedo is accurate. So you can say i dont know but i dont see how i couldnt.

sounds like they were pretty close runs. does he plan on modding any time soon?

oh and i beleive you ran the times you say you did with the mods listed.

im sure hed like to but he still has to pay on it lol its a 2002 trans am auto, and he put flowmasters on it right before the track the rest is bone stock with 46k miles on it. his best time of the night once he figured out how to drive it lol was a 13.2x he wants a full exhaust and intake and tune i beleive whos knows what else, he mentions heads and cams. but im sure it will be a long ways off. By the way i can post my new slips if anyone cares and a pic of my car in track mode and the tires, so that people can see what my car really is.
